All i have are words to take your heart away.

a little update as i've been MIA for a while now. lets just say that i am definitely feeling a lot better about the whole break up thing. its always nice to know that i don't really run out of guys' attention. sounds pompous, i know but i'm grateful for their attention (and distraction), girls too. heeh. after the being heartbroken thing, its very encouraging to know that i'm not broken to these people who sees me and likes me. being dumped kinda decreases your self-esteem for a while, you know. meh. i'm much better now. ^^ i'm not gonna let this spoil the rest of Korea for me.

but looking back, i have spent half of spring cooped up in my room. oops. i don't exactly feel any loss there, not when my time has been filled with watching k-dramas full of eye candies. oh, all these tall, lanky guys with smiling eyes and beautiful teeth, why must you torture me so with your good looks and long legs? i couldn't ask for a better way to spend my time. hehe.

i started off with watching School 2013. it had really good reviews and of course, the driving force behind its success other than its real portrayal of Korean school life is its two leading actors, Lee Jong Suk and Kim Woo Bin. /cue to swoon. i can't even decide which one i like better but hey, why do i even need to choose? ^^

the plot was good, no love story in between though which was a bit odd but they did portray the life of Korean students pretty well according to what i've read. and if their life is really like that, i feel really sad for them. there's no perfect education system in any country but the societal/parental pressure here in Korea for students to succeed makes it worse. ah, i'm blabbing. in conclusion, good drama, good-looking guys, good way to spend my evenings.

then, i moved on to A Gentleman's Dignity. why didn't i find out about this sooner? i think it made a lot of noise when it aired but somehow i paid no attention to it. well, i just finished watching it over the weekend and its really good. the kind of good where i don't want to leave that world and makes me feel like crying because its over. all i want to do is cling on and yell, "don't gooooo~". ㅠ.ㅠ

of course, another bunch of good-looking men over here. all way older but no less appealing, i guarantee you. kinda makes me want to be older so that it seems less wrong to fall head over heels for them, especially Jang Dong Gun. (。♥‿♥。) yes, that's my face through out the drama. (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)

what i like about this drama is that as much as this was a romantic comedy drama, there was a lot of friendship, brotherhood, life lessons and the four of them with their own charm really pulls you in. there wasn't a dull moment and the four love stories going on doesn't leave you with time to get bored. you might get the impression that the drama may be more suitable for the older, more adult generation but i think the younger generation would have a lot of fun watching this and may even end up learning a thing or two. in general, i just super like this show okay. not to mention, Jonghyun from CNBlue and Kim Woo Bin are acting in it; pretty much covers the taste of all women viewers. :D unfortunately, this is also sparked my crazy fan mode and now, i'm all flailing and obsessing over Jonghyun/CNBlue. (●♡∀♡)

somewhere in the last week, i had the opportunity to eat meat and watch not just one but two movies with someone other than myself. heeh. i'm still not sure if this progress is a good thing but who am i kidding? i'm just glad there is someone who wants to hold my hand even when it gets sweaty. ㅋㅋㅋ i shouldn't/wouldn't/couldn't ask for more, really.

Oblivion is... good. there has been a lot of end of the world or post-end of the world movies around but this one definitely came with a twist. the plot was clever, i'm still trying to figure out bits of it and well, i'm not a good critic. so like any other consumer, i can only say this, it was worth my time and money and aren't those the important factors?

now, this one, i had no idea about. it was the other only English movie that sounded reasonably okay and at first, i thought it was some spoof/parody of Twilight/vampire/werewolves by the look of the poster. turned out i was way off course. this was actually a well-made movie with a solid plot and story. i don't recognize any of the cast and i just found out that this was based on a book. anyway, this movie was good, give it a shot if it plays in your cinemas.

okay, so my update wasn't so little after all. haven't blogged in a while, that's why.

i've been feeling very blessed, knowing that i've been blessed all along. again, i learn to appreciate the small things, the moments of laughter and peace; with friends or by myself, the wind in my hair, the cherry blossoms before my eyes and strangers who become friends. i'm still learning, still growing.

p.s. congrats on being baptised, little sister. (:

let go, let God.

i'll keep this short cus i need to get back to studying for my abnormal psy quiz.

Saturday: Service was really good! everyone in church is always on a hype when Ps. Kong comes to CHCKL but this time, it was even a bigger deal because he brought along quite a lot ppl (famous ppl at that) for the Crossover service.

the service was even held in two parts where we had a short break in the middle to fill our stomachs and empty our bladders. the two services were filled with performances. we had performances by our own dance group, Taiwanese artists, O School (which is the largest dance academy in South-East Asia) and of course, Sun.

Ps. Kong

Ps. Kong shared about Sun's crossover project and how successful it is and also the ups and downs they went through. its was really awe-inspiring to listen to everything they did for God. not to mention, this is the first time

Sun Ho

i was really touched by Sun's testimony and encouraged too. (: overall, it was a great experience and its really too bad if anyone missed it. in case you're curious, i did manage to take a few videos of the performances. they're over at my youtube account.

after service, i got the opportunity to watch Avengers and the movie is EPIC. abuden? but i was sitting in the first row and everything seemed to move so fast! planning to watch it again with more appropriate seat. :D

and i am so in love with Jeremy Renner. he plays Hawkeye in Avengers but i started noticing him in the 4th Mission Impossible. he's so good-looking! :DD

and he's so super yeng in this scene! kyaaaa~

Sunday: was serving in nursery. lots of babies to take care of which meant i couldn't catch what Ps. Kong was preaching about. went for lunch with cell group and we celebrated Elysia's super belated birthday!

with birthday girl!

the whole gang :D

after lunch, i went home and crashed; literally. and now, i gotta get back to my notes.

till the next time, goodnight and God bless!

no reservation, faith don't be silent.

Chromeheart: Revelation
Monday, April 09, 2012
its been busy the past 4 days, mainly due to CHCKL's awesome Easter production, the second installation of Chromeheart; Chromeheart: Revelation.

but before all that, i had a girls' day out with Andrea and Chareessa. we watched We Not Naughty and had lunch in Popeye's. (: even helped Chareessa buy an umbrella which came into good use when we left Pyramid.

as some might know, i went for all four times that the production was playing. the first three times with new friends and the last one because i was serving in nursery.

this time around, the production was brilliant (not to say the first one wasn't). the stunts were breathtaking and your heart can't help but be excited and nervous at the same time as you watch them battle at the end. i particularly loved the choreography; it was so captivating. ^^

i still felt that it was pretty amazing after watching it for the 4th time. it really has the ability to pull you in to their world, their realm and make you want to stay so that it never ends. but it did and i'm definitely looking forward to the next production already. :D

Siew Min, Elysia, Chareessa

this is it for now. goodnight, everyone! God bless!

bad dragon!
Saturday, December 03, 2011
so, this is my pre-exam post. totally random and possibly meaningless but fun nonetheless (for me, at least). ^^

here are the TOP few movies that i can watch over and over again without getting tired of.

Number 1: How To Train A Dragon

i adore Toothless! he's the cutest thing ever. if i could ever have a pet dragon, i'll get Toothless. i love cartoons and animations and this is by far my favorite of all. there was nothing very special about the movie, it wasn't beautiful in an Avatar-esque way. it was quite simple but the scene where Hiccup flies with the girl and the sky turns from blue to black to orange was the most beautiful scene ever. the movie has the typical storyline; just because you're different doesn't mean you can't succeed kinda story which makes this movie a good pick-up during a bad day. (: and i guarantee you'll adore Toothless.

Number 2: He's Just Not That Into You

i know there's so many romantic comedies out there but this one just really got to me. maybe its the combination of casts, maybe its my slight crush for Justin Long, maybe in the end; its happy ever after in a more-realistic-not-everyone-ended-up-together way but whatever it is, i really like this movie.

Number 3: Transformers

come on, even i can get into cars and manly stuff like that, okay? i mean, Bumblebee is most probably the only non-human-car-machine character i love. he's yellow and so cute (okay, this maybe due to his ability to speak through a radio). i think its really sexy though; the whole cars turning into world-saving machines (or is it the other way around?) :D

the list will go un-numbered from now onward because they're all really good which i recommend watching!

The Holiday

another romantic comedy. Christmas is coming, so wouldn't this be the perfect movie to watch? i would watch this again for Jude Law. heeh.

The A-Team

this movie has it all; cute guy, crazy guy, tough guy, smart guy, good humour, great action and feeling good at the end of the movie because who doesn't love it when a plan comes together?

last but not least, Love and Other Drugs.

this is unlike the typical romantic comedy where friends for benefit turns into lovers for life. this one has a very realistic feel to it because its more than being insecure about love or having a bad past. instead, it deals with something real like an incurable disease that could really test love. and of course, Jake Gyllenhaal is super cute! not to mention, Anne Hathaway is actually one of the few actresses i like.

this is the end of the list. just something that i was thinking about which i decided to post here. really random, i know. time to hit the sack. end of the year post should be coming up soon.

God bless and take care, peeps!

hi, i'm a title. (:
Sunday, January 09, 2011
its 9 days into the new year, thus i shall not procrastinate any longer on my new year post. however, before i proceed, lets do a little recap since my last update. caution: long post is long.

had a really nice dinner in a really nice house that had some really nice drinks such as the one below. ^^

on Friday afternoon, we decided to take an unannounced visit back to ELCE or now known as ELCERIA. although its not the same place i used to go, nothing much has changed. some of the teachers that used to teach me are still there. one of them even got married. i was really glad (not sure if glad is the right word but yea) to see Mr Lee since he wasn't there the last time we visited and we simply assumed he left. it was such an epic scene, when all of us barged into his class and he's like "who are all of you?!". he finally recognised us but still, if you know how Mr Lee used to be, then you would know that the fact that we met him is really kinda brilliant. :DD he still looks/ sound/talk the same, albeit a little rounder on his face.

L to R: J, WY, Me, HY, Mrs Cheng, Mr Cheng, Mr Lee

i could write a whole essay about my time in ELCE, times that were precious and so wonderful to me. i had a great time there. i met most of the friends i still know now and learned a lot when i was there. ELCE is a part of my life and what made me who i am today.

and today, we took a trip to Taiping for reasons unknown. for fun, i guess. watched Tron there too. not a bad movie, btw. at least its not draggy and boring.

and yes, finally moving on to the real thing. introducing my NEW YEAR POST! *applauds*

2010 has been a year of learning, of stepping out of my safe cocoon and i guess, of being an adult. ultimately, it was a much better year compared to 2009 in certain ways.

in terms of Kpop and even Cpop (Lee Hom!), it was the best year ever! the year started off with Super Show 2 which was EPIC and then there were Beast, U-Kiss and JYJ. not to mention, i even went for Lee Hom's autograph session and kinda saw Jang Geun Suk from afar when i was working in Spore. great year indeed! hopefully, this year won't be any less awesome. Super Show 3 is only 20 days away! here's a link to all my fan accounts so far if you're interested. click me please!

diverting from my hopeless fangirling, 2010 actually started with much uncertainty and discouragement. STPM was just over and it was pretty clear even before the results were out that i didn't do very well in it. at that time, i didn't bother about what to do or think except to get my ticket to Super Show 2 which led to me working in Singapore for approximately 4 months. LOL.

it was a good time to be away from home; i really needed to go somewhere and learn to be on my own. although i wasn't far from family since i was staying with my uncle's family and my grandparents, technically, i was on my own most of the time. work was tiring, standing 10 hours a day is not easy but i had very nice colleagues and working there opened my eyes to people and how different all of us are and yet, how similar our goals and dreams can be and even how education is really important after all.

the really good thing about Singapore is its transportation system and its safe surroundings. made exploring the place so much easier for me. i managed to meet a few old friends and make a few new friends. i even had a little adventure of my own. ^^

i came back to Ipoh after my shop had to close down and i was suddenly unemployed. with some persuasion from my mum, i went to work in Lost World of Tambun where i assisted in the Junior Ranger's program. this was another place i learned a lot from; how to deal with kids and how to deal with animals. i draped Manja, the Albino Burmese Python around my neck as if its a scarf, i can kind of tell the birds apart, learned how to differentiate male and female tortoises and how to hold a rabbit properly. it was an amazing time. worked there till my time in Sunway University started. i gotta say i got slightly phobic of kids after that but as time passed, i realised that kids still have a special place in my heart as do animals. :D

it was a whole lot of worries and headaches before i got admitted into Sun U. i was really close to just giving up and finding a job in Singapore instead but by the grace of God, my grandma lent me some money, my PTPTN loan got approved and that meant i could study. (: and this is where i am now, studying and will be for the next three years.

unfortunately, 2010 was also the year i lost my grandma from my mum's side. my sister and I used to spend the weekends at her house when we were younger. sometimes, she'd bring us out to town and when she goes for her mahjong sessions, we would sneak out of the house to play. i miss her cooking and despite the language barrier, she cared a lot for us in her ways. i'm kinda sad that my cousins won't be able to grow up knowing her. thankfully, i got to spend some time with her when i was in Spore before she passed away. i still miss her a lot.

well, moving on the third quarter of the year, my first semester of my first year of Bsc (Hons) Psychology in Sun U started. so far, everything is going well. i don't think i did very badly in my exams, guess i'll find out on the 11th when my results are out. attended and still attending City Harvest Church. met an awesome bunch of people in my cell group, E7! a very unexpected thing happened during this time, one that came as such a surprise, i still wonder if its true but its a good thing. (:

wow, if you managed to stick with me and read through all that, congrats! here's a virtual cookie for you! i think i pretty much summarised the whole 2010 year. writing all these down made me realise how much experience and knowledge i have gained over the past 12 months. thank God for each and everyone of them! my only hope is that 2011 will be an even better year in terms of growth (but not in size, mind you) and Kpop! :DD

sounds like broken records playin' over.
Friday, August 20, 2010

i can't believe i forgot to blog about this. i watched Love In Disguise last weekend with Cam and the movie is hilarious and Lee Hom's fans has got to watch this. he's so gorgeous and dorky in it, its a must watch okay! although i felt that the dialogues and the way the plot evolved was kinda funny and felt very incomplete, my bias for Lee Hom overshadowed all the flaws. he emphasized quite a lot on the Chinese musical instruments too which i guess was really the whole point of the movie. D: but i like Lee Hom, so i like this movie and i'm gonna get the dvd when it comes out. heeh.

The Expendables on Thursday night. slightly missed the beginning of the movie because we went in late to the cinema. i think that's where the funny part was. oh well. the movie was okay for me. the reason why this movie was so happening was because of its cast and i only watched because Jet Li's in it. the action scenes in the movie happened really fast and i was just staring at the screen trying to figure out who's who. i was surprised that the fighting scenes were more graphic and gory. i kinda preferred A-Team more though.

and this pic was pre-movie. it was a very belated birthday party for Siew Min. and i believe this is nearly the whole of E7, the cell group i'm currently going to. :D

and today, Hasy, Kavitha and I met up in Lost World. its a change from the usual meeting place like JJ or Old Town. Hasy and I talked a lot about stuff, mainly about love and it was a really good talk, seems like we're kinda alike. :D then Kavitha came a little later and we went to the Petting Zoo, saw the feeding show for the tigers, sat on the rides even though it was only the 3 of us on the rides and talked even more. it was good time spent. i'm gonna miss Hasy when she goes off to India. /sob

that's it for the week. have a great Sunday and all the best to the SPM trials students!
God Bless!

dream dream dream.
Saturday, July 24, 2010

Inception was not as mindraping as everyone said it was? maybe its because I had a little spoiler before I watched it. although all Mabel said was its a dream within a dream. but its not bad. I especially liked the idea of living in a dream. I'd like to live in the dream I had last night. there was a cute guy in it. the guy who played Arthur (the one next to Leonardo in the second pic) is not bad looking too. :D

gotta work tmr.

Have a great weekend, peeps!

Align Centerso this one is much better than the first one. i totally skipped the second movie despite wanting to watch the fluffy wolves. the first one was a little too disappointing, you see.

hm. Edward's not too much of an eyesore this time. Bella has nice eyebrows. Jacob has sappy love confessions and really white pearly teeth. the wolves are still fluffy; reminds me of overgrown hamsters. i kinda wanna nuzzle into their fur. 0.o and and there's more screen time for Jasper! and erm, a lot of faces. as in close ups of faces. and close ups of making out faces. not pleasant. at all.

the story was really draggy though with slow lines and kissing scenes! however, their acting have improved. at least, i didn't feel like throwing popcorn or in my case, BBQ flavoured Cottage Fries at the screen and disrupting the cuddling couple sitting in front of me.

listening to Justin Bieber's Baby on the radio just now reminded me of Jacob.
"Like baby, baby, baby noo
Like baby, baby, baby ohh
I thought you'd always be mine mine"

okay. i need to end this. the durians in front of me are calling 'eaaaaat meeee!'

God bless!

Toy Story 3 was not bad.
hilarious at most parts, sad at some and overall, not bad. :D

and since i didn't know what an ascot is, i searched it up.
what, its perfectly normal to not know what it is.

anyway, its the scarf tie thingamajig that he has around his neck.

normally, it looks like the pic below.

but i guess for fashion's sake, it can look like anything it wants.

i know its been a while. lots have been happening but now is not the right time to blog about them because its late and i need to wake up early. ><
The A-Team
is a brilliant movie. one that i would watch again actually. highly recommended. (:

I love it when a plan comes together.

quite marvelous.
Wednesday, February 24, 2010

movie was awesome. Lee Hom's acting is really good, imo. not much plot but it was a hilarious movie with a pretty sad ending.
outing with Jonan, the "man" who need his space was awesome too.
and meeting Esther was a blessing. (:

gotta go earn myself some extra cash.

have a good day everyone!

saturday. was awesome. watched Transformers 2: The Rise of The Fallen with Jia Wei, Weng Kit and Carina. the movie gets 5 stars. i'll most probably be watching it again with my mum and sis. when have metallic creatures be this sexy? :DD

had dinner at David's Diner. the burger was definitely worth the hassle we took to reach there although Weng Kit might not feel the same way seeing there's a scratch on his car. hm.

"My sister followed everything i did until she was in Std 6.
She used to wear dresses until i started wearing jeans,"

says Weng Kit. LOL.

reached home pretty late. missed MJ's moon walking in the concert they were showing on 8tv. aish. i'm gonna go youtube it.

sunday. was brilliant. it was Youth Sunday. Jia Wei, Pei Qin, Adrian, Yoon Keat and Yian Fong came. even my BB officers, Chee Koon and Kah Loon went to check it out. lol. the walls were decked with black cloths and they were little LED lights all over. worship was good despite the restricted place i had to jump in. heh. there was also this song performance and in the middle of it, Deva started talking about opening our eyes and changing the world. seemed kinda impromptu which it most probably was but it was okay. he got the point across plus he's the perfect poster boy for it. lol.

not to mention, the sermon was most probably the best i've heard this year. Pastor Julie from GTPJ came all the way from Petaling Jaya for Youth Sunday. gosh, she was awesome. reminds me i should go for HUGE camp this year.

after that, my mum took me to this place for something that i'm too lazy to explain about. anyway, the point is i stole Book 1 to 8 of the Unfortunate Series from there. XD i am extaordinarily happy about it. now i only have to get the rest of the books. hint: y'all know what to get for my bday now.

and that concludes my weekend.

i most probably definitely won't be blogging much after this. STPM's gonna kick my ass if i don't start studying now.

so i bid farewell and take care. till the next time.
God Bless!

btw, click the banner. its for a good cause.

Wednesday, June 10, 2009
lets start off from saturday which was a very hectic day. sorry, i'm only updating now.
eek. was lazy.

had Drill Camp during the day. the primers learned how to do the Guard of Honor thing. we joined the others and it was pretty fun although we had to repeat it twice. but we have been under worse drill conditions. so ya, it was okay and a good change from the normal GB stuff we're used to. around 3pm, we started backwoods cooking which was tasking but enjoyable. our cooking was safe to say a success; our rice was cooked (kinda), our fishes were salty, chicken wings were edible and despite the roti lilit not being as good as Sum's, we still finished it. left Wesley about 6.30pm.

went out again at around 8pm with Jie Han who's this friend i made during Scrabble comp when i was in form 4 and his childhood friend, Desmond. watched Hannah Montana: The Movie. it was erm, okay? lol. the songs were nice and the lead actor was of course, cute. i was surprised though by the guest appearances in the movie such as Tyra Banks, Rascal Flatts and Taylor Swift. well, she is a superstar.

the next day which was Sunday, woke up early to go to KL. reached here, had lunch, went to play pong in nearby club. had Uncle Ronald over for dinner. he's a distant relative from Australia. gosh, i have a big family.

on Monday, we hanged out with Sum in Sunway. bought this yellow blob called Barrel O Slime. :DD i'm naming it Squammous or Squammie for short. lol. yes, the irony is that it is not square at all, neither can it ever be square.

Tuesday. went to One Utama. walked till i could cry. my heels were killing me.
bleh. took picture with this dude cus he was flashing. :X

that's it so far. will be back in Ipoh on Thurs and
that means getting closer to the end of the holidays. how depressing.

goodnight.

watched Angels & Demons today. no good. bleh.

bought Global Warning Tour & HOT for just RM36.90. *flails*

will be back from Pangkor on Tues.

till then. Good night and happy hols, everyone! (:

it is over. for now at least.
Wednesday, May 27, 2009
PA 1 was the last paper today. now i just have like another million and one things to worry about. ==
anyway, watched Night At The Museum 2 today. it was good. this time there's more action, more drama, more laughs, more characters. plus it has a good lesson at the end of it.
have fun
. yea. i hope i could do that. x/

oooh. the guy at the counter selling popcorn looked like Kyuhyun. LOL.
this sudden Suju thing is so not good for me. on the other hand, My Heaven, Big Bang's latest Japanese single came out. the mv is to die for. GD looks so flippin' good in there, although he's having that creepy long hair which fortunately is starting to grow on me, pun not intended. *grins*

side note: omo. i finally wrote a 'pun (not) intended' sentence. i've always wanted to write it. lol. yes, i'm weird but i see it as an accomplishment. yay for me!

anyway, i'm gonna be playing and replaying that mv until i can memorise the whole thing. :D

btw, anyone heard about this Rotary Charity Food Fair that's gonna be held on the 14th June in Anderson? its on the Sunday right before school starts. from 9.00 am to 2.30 pm. my mum will be selling cupcakes there. so come and support. the money raised goes to Health, Hunger & Humanity Projects, Nutrition Programme for Needy School Children and Mental Health Projects.

its for a good cause so come and eat all you want. they'll be good food there. anyone interested can get coupons from me for RM10 per book. (:

till the next time. good night.

a look back, a step forward.

what have i been up to this week?
2 movies and a book are the answers.

yes, i finally watched it.
one advice, don't eat while watching this. you kinda lose appetite during the first quarter of the show.

and this book which i bought on Sat for RM14.90.
was so happy to have bought a book. i'm deprived of good books lately but this has cured it.
although i'll be reading it again cus i just sped through it seeing the exams are just a corner away.
its one of the better books i have read and one that definitely requires loads of imagination.
on another note, i can't believe i bought a series book. gah! i hate buying series books.
this means i'm gonna have to hunt for the other books. x/

another good question would be why am i doing all this when exams are nearing?
which is why this is gonna be my last post until it ends.
but before i leave, here's a lil vid. a COP production in occasion with Mother's Day. (:

goodnight and good luck in your exams!

forever mine.
Saturday, February 28, 2009

over the week, i have watched The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

read Sophie Kinsella's Remember Me? which was about this girl who lost 3 years of her memory after waking up from a coma to find out she was not a really nice/good person during that 3 years and making things right.

had no electricity at home on Tuesday. you know what, none of these are relevant. just felt like noting them down for the sake of blogging.

my eyes are practically drooping now. lol. this is such a useless post. promise the next one will be better. xD or i'll edit this later.
goodnight!

edit// i just remembered. today the Primers were in charge of the games during meeting. i think it went as well as it could have went. thank God for that. (:
