yes, flail post time! :D this is what happens when i have too much time on my hands and an unlimited supply of loooove~ ^^ plus i do have so much fun looking for their pictures and gifs. hehe.
i'll start off with CNBlue. as seen in previous post, Jonghyun caught my eye when he appeared in A Gentleman's Dignity. look at that handsome face! (≧∇≦) pretty obvious that he is my bias but i find that when i like a group, i usually like them as a whole. some people don't. hm.
a little info about CNBLUE; they're an idol rock band, debuted in Korea in 2010 with "I'm A Loner" which was a really good song. i preferred them more than FT Island. their latest comeback with "I'm Sorry" was a huge hit. it was played everywhere on the streets in Korea and they are now preparing for their world tour. their fans are known as Boice.
L to R: Minhyuk (22); drums, vocals, Jonghyun (23); lead guitar, vocals, Yonghwa (24); lead vocal, rhythm guitar, Jungshin (22); bass guitar, vocals.
and now moving on to BTOB (Born to Beat). i guess, due to my enormous amount of free time, i've been pretty up-to-date with all the kpop stuff happening, especially the comebacks and i've taken to at least listening to every song that comes out. and that's how i came across BTOB with their latest song, 두 번째 고백 (2nd Confession). super cute song and super cute MV too (especially the PJs version). (´∀`) i feel like my taste in music has changed recently and i'm into slower songs now or maybe the market's changing.
i was paying special attention to them because of Ilhoon's featuring in G.Na's Oops which i really like. so i did a little digging around, listened to their previous songs and have been pretty obsessed with Wow, their second title song. i really liked it and i have no idea why i have not heard of it before. and yes, Ilhoon is one of my bias. i have accepted my fate as a nuna fan. sigh. /(;-_-) ~
Ilhoon reminds me of Beast's Junhyung and GD. for young guy, he's got some swag and his rapping is not bad. plus, he's a really good performer and so cute too. :D
my other bias is Minhyuk. pretty obvious why with that pretty boy look. thank God he's older than me. somehow it matters, helps me make sense of this idol-fan relationship.
a little info on BTOB, they are still rookies, having only debuted in March 2012. they have a total of 7 members and their fans are called Melody. the members' background are quite impressive, for example, Ilhoon is Joo's younger brother, Hyunsik's father was a famous singer, Peniel's from Chicago and oh ya, they're under CUBE Ent. i'm looking forward to how they will continue on, i think they will do great.
L to R: Peniel (20); vocals, Ilhoon (19); rap, Eunkwang (23); leader, main vocal, Hyunsik (21), vocals, Minhyuk (23); vocals, rap, Sungjae (18); vocals & Changsub (22); vocals.
and now introducing the stars of School 2013 (please refer to previous post), Kim Woo Bin and Lee Jong Suk. both are 89'ers which makes them friends which they are irl which makes them all the more lovable. haha. does that make sense to you?
L: Kim Woo Bin, R: Lee Jong Suk (✿ ♥‿♥)
Lee Jong Suk; model and actor. i first noticed him in Secret Garden, he played the gay musician that had a crush on Oscar. i thought he was cute then, he was acting all cool and heartsick with his flappy hair. he has the cutest smile and height and yea, he's like every girl's dream guy.
Kim Woo Bin; model and actor. he acted in A Gentleman's Dignity and made it big in School 2013. i love his smile too. haha. and his height and he always play tough guys in dramas but he's really not like that in real life, i feel.
this marks the end of my flail post. disclaimer: i'm just doing this for my own enjoyment, so you know, each girl to her own yea.
all these pretty boys make me hungry. (●´∀`●)
till the next post, God bless and have a nice week ahead!

a little update as i've been MIA for a while now. lets just say that i am definitely feeling a lot better about the whole break up thing. its always nice to know that i don't really run out of guys' attention. sounds pompous, i know but i'm grateful for their attention (and distraction), girls too. heeh. after the being heartbroken thing, its very encouraging to know that i'm not broken to these people who sees me and likes me. being dumped kinda decreases your self-esteem for a while, you know. meh. i'm much better now. ^^ i'm not gonna let this spoil the rest of Korea for me.
but looking back, i have spent half of spring cooped up in my room. oops. i don't exactly feel any loss there, not when my time has been filled with watching k-dramas full of eye candies. oh, all these tall, lanky guys with smiling eyes and beautiful teeth, why must you torture me so with your good looks and long legs? i couldn't ask for a better way to spend my time. hehe.
i started off with watching School 2013. it had really good reviews and of course, the driving force behind its success other than its real portrayal of Korean school life is its two leading actors, Lee Jong Suk and Kim Woo Bin. /cue to swoon. i can't even decide which one i like better but hey, why do i even need to choose? ^^
the plot was good, no love story in between though which was a bit odd but they did portray the life of Korean students pretty well according to what i've read. and if their life is really like that, i feel really sad for them. there's no perfect education system in any country but the societal/parental pressure here in Korea for students to succeed makes it worse. ah, i'm blabbing. in conclusion, good drama, good-looking guys, good way to spend my evenings.
then, i moved on to A Gentleman's Dignity. why didn't i find out about this sooner? i think it made a lot of noise when it aired but somehow i paid no attention to it. well, i just finished watching it over the weekend and its really good. the kind of good where i don't want to leave that world and makes me feel like crying because its over. all i want to do is cling on and yell, "don't gooooo~". ㅠ.ㅠ
of course, another bunch of good-looking men over here. all way older but no less appealing, i guarantee you. kinda makes me want to be older so that it seems less wrong to fall head over heels for them, especially Jang Dong Gun. (。♥‿♥。) yes, that's my face through out the drama. (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)
what i like about this drama is that as much as this was a romantic comedy drama, there was a lot of friendship, brotherhood, life lessons and the four of them with their own charm really pulls you in. there wasn't a dull moment and the four love stories going on doesn't leave you with time to get bored. you might get the impression that the drama may be more suitable for the older, more adult generation but i think the younger generation would have a lot of fun watching this and may even end up learning a thing or two. in general, i just super like this show okay. not to mention, Jonghyun from CNBlue and Kim Woo Bin are acting in it; pretty much covers the taste of all women viewers. :D unfortunately, this is also sparked my crazy fan mode and now, i'm all flailing and obsessing over Jonghyun/CNBlue. (●♡∀♡)

somewhere in the last week, i had the opportunity to eat meat and watch not just one but two movies with someone other than myself. heeh. i'm still not sure if this progress is a good thing but who am i kidding? i'm just glad there is someone who wants to hold my hand even when it gets sweaty. ㅋㅋㅋ i shouldn't/wouldn't/couldn't ask for more, really.
Oblivion is... good. there has been a lot of end of the world or post-end of the world movies around but this one definitely came with a twist. the plot was clever, i'm still trying to figure out bits of it and well, i'm not a good critic. so like any other consumer, i can only say this, it was worth my time and money and aren't those the important factors?
now, this one, i had no idea about. it was the other only English movie that sounded reasonably okay and at first, i thought it was some spoof/parody of Twilight/vampire/werewolves by the look of the poster. turned out i was way off course. this was actually a well-made movie with a solid plot and story. i don't recognize any of the cast and i just found out that this was based on a book. anyway, this movie was good, give it a shot if it plays in your cinemas.
okay, so my update wasn't so little after all. haven't blogged in a while, that's why.
i've been feeling very blessed, knowing that i've been blessed all along. again, i learn to appreciate the small things, the moments of laughter and peace; with friends or by myself, the wind in my hair, the cherry blossoms before my eyes and strangers who become friends. i'm still learning, still growing.
p.s. congrats on being baptised, little sister. (:
let go, let God.

disclaimer: this post is an extremely long one (albeit with pictures).
i'm bored, i don't want to study my Cognition & Perception, so i'm just gonna post pictures of things i've been into recently. :D
i've always been into Big Bang, no surprise here. just thought that the gif is so super adorable.
lets see; shows i've been watching (or trying to anyway).
Big (K-drama)
i've watched 3 episodes and it seems to be going well. its like a Secret Garden theme going on but its okay. its got potential and Gong Yoo never disappoints.
Queen Inhyun's Man (K-drama)
Yoo Inna was the reason i decided to watch this instead of all the other dramas happening around. i think she's real pretty. ^^ and i really love the chemistry between her role and with Ji Hyun Woo's role. i totally supported them being a real couple. Ji Hyun Woo didn't appear quite good looking when i watched him in Invincible Youth 2 but he's reaally cute in this drama. :D
and they have the most amount of kiss scenes i've seen in a drama so far. the one i liked the most is where Yoo Inna stands on his feet. how adorable is that?
kinda spurred my desire to find myself a tall guy for a boyfriend.
he's got a really cute smile. heeh.
okay, now some non-foreign language shows.
The Big Bang Theory
i am so in love with this show. i love all the characters, the story line, the wit and humor, the way they interact with each other. uh, so perfect.
i'm trying to savor Season 5 slowly but its so hard to control myself! the only reason i haven't finished watching the entire season in one seating is because i'm so terribly sleep-deprived all the time.
Sheldon's character in the show is epic and Jim Parsons is so cute (for an old guy :D). i've got a thing for nerds, its pretty proven.
New Girl
New Girl was something that i kept seeing on Astro and decided to download. its different from TBBT in a good way, its funny on a different level. i've finished watching Season 1 and now eagerly awaiting Season 2. i love Jess' character in the show. i might aspire to be like her; carefree, bubbly, and forever optimistic.
Fringe
this shows satisfies the curious side of me, if i want to put it that way. the plot is really great and the science and everything is really intriguing. not advisable to eat while watching some of the episodes though.
Jeremy Renner
yea, if it wasn't obvious before, it should be now. he may be twice my age but that don't matter when you have eyes like his.
shows I plan to watch in the near future
Suits seemed really interesting. smart guy and law, not a bad combination. Smash; dubbed the grown up version of Glee with Katherine McPhee starring in it.
recently remembered about Charmed and how i didn't finish watching it (because it didn't show on tv anymore) and now, i have the last three seasons in my computer waiting to be watched. Glee is good, plus i think Sam, Blaine and Mike are really cute. :D i know it sounds like the reason i watch things are for the cute faces but they've got great voices and killer moves and the show's awesome (and what's wrong with cute faces?).
see, i'm not that shallow. :p these are the investigative, crime, police shows that i so adore watching. (: Bones, NCIS, and Criminal Minds. oh yeah, i've recently downloaded Lie To Me too.
of course, i've got some Korean stuff to watch. mainly Running Man and other random K-dramas such as Bridal Mask, Dr Jin, Phantom, and many many more .
and yes, that's Park Ji Sung in Running Man.
okay, i'm going to end. i must or i'll never go through my notes.
this post does summarize pretty well the things i'm interested in. (: and isn't the new layout pretty? ^^
goodnight and have a good week.
