BIG BANG WORLD TOUR 'MADE' IN MALAYSIA
Date: 24th July 2015
Time: 8.30pm
Venue: Putra Indoor Stadium

Yes, crazy fan here if you didn't already know. It just wasn't easy accepting that we did not watch the Malaysian concert. How could we not go?

And they did add another day to the concert, so there we were. It was crazy hectic as it was again held on the same day some famous football team was here. Seeing that we don't have the convenience and ease of public transport, you can imagine how congested the roads were. Added to the fact that it was a Friday, a lot of people were rushing over for the game.

We should have gone as early as we could but that ended up not happening. Thank the heavens that the cars I double parked were able to wriggle out and I didn't have to leave the concert because of them.

I'm sure you know how I feel about the concert by now. I believe I said it was amazing, mind blowing, crazy good. Well, it was twice that since I watched it for the second time. :D

One thing stood out, Malaysian VIPs really really love Daesung. It seemed like everyone screamed the loudest for him, it was adorable. I'm glad everyone's crazy over him.

The fans were definitely louder and more passionate in Malaysia. Probably because we don't see them as often as our neighbours. The colours of their outfits were different, but other than that, they delivered a stellar performance.

The concert ended and I left with a heavy heart, empty pocket but a full heart of just Big Bang awesomeness. It was the best Friday of my 2015.

BIG BANG WORLD TOUR 'MADE' IN SINGAPORE
Date: 18th July 2015
Time: 6.00pm
Venue: Singapore Indoor Stadium

I know it's been forever since I last wrote and I thought, "Why not end the drought with a bang?" Haha, I know. #lamepun But seeing how I have not been in the mood to write, trying to stage a comeback with something I'm always passionate about is a good place to start.

And that is none other than my best 오빠들—Big Bang.

Jill and I decided that going to the Singapore concert was our best bet on getting the most original version of concert. Yes, we were paranoid about the various rules and regulations our dearest country cook up as they please. To avoid that, we decided to go for the Singapore concert. Although, in hindsight, we needn't had to. Oh, well. Money's for spending, right? And where better to spend it than on the boys who bring so much joy and love into my life?

So, we took a bus down, reached in the afternoon, checked in to our hostel, had lunch and went over to the stadium. Turned out that the concert was on the very same day that the Liverpool/Chelsea/some famous football team were having a match. You can imagine the human traffic that were uncles, families with little boys and white men mixed with teenage girls dressed in hip hop attire and ahjumma fans all breathing down each other's necks as we attempt to arrive in one piece at the stadium.

It was hot, there were people everywhere and getting a drink meant having to queue up for 20 minutes just to pay for it. By the time we reached, it was too late to look for fan merchandise and all that. Quite sad but we can live without it. It would be nice to feel like we're a part of the VIP community though.

We got in about 6pm, found our seats which were pretty satisfactory. But I think my goal as a fan (which I really hope to reach) is to be able to see them up close which means front row seats/standing pits/super expensive tickets. And that is why I need to find myself a job. /sigh

The concert started a bit later and it was amazing, mind blowing, crazy good. Would I have any other adjectives to describe it? It is after all, Big Bang.

Props were minimal but the usage of the split stage was brilliant. It got the boys closer to the fans and at the same time, gave them more space to jump around and stuff. The screens and the projections were used very cleverly, I mean they could just use it to show us their faces but they did more than that. It was artistic, actually and really complimented the performances and the song. The screens were simple but effective and even gave a sense of class to the whole thing.

Singapore Day 1

The boys were beautiful, energetic and really cute with their English. Seungri was attempting to speak Mandarin, good efforts but you could tell it was learned from the China concerts and well, since the way it's spoken is a little different outside of China, it was obvious.

The songs they performed were mostly their recent hit songs. Considering how each of them have so much solo work on their own, enough to hold an entire concert by themselves, it couldn't have been easy fitting everyone in. We did manage to see at least one song from each of them and collabs such as Seungri's Let's Talk About Love and GDYB's Good Boy. The performances were so good!

TOP in Doom Dada was scary, Daesung in Wings was exciting, everything else was Big Bang standard and that's the highest. We got to see Sober and If You performed. Just remembering how GD sounded in If You, my heart melts. My babies did very very well in the concert.

And it was a very sad moment when it ended about 2 plus hours later.

Which is why I ended up going for the Malaysia concert too. Heeh. That would be in the next post.

Fancams can be found in my Youtube playlist here. ^^
All credits to Jill of course and her iPhone 5.

Till then.

Thinking of You Fanmeeting
Date: 16th March 2014
Time: 6.30pm
Venue: Surf Beach, Sunway Lagoon

even if I were to neglect my blog and writing, I couldn't possibly not write a fan account for my favorite, most-loved boys. this is Big Bang, even the name speaks for itself. unfortunately, out of the 5 members, only three were involved in this fanmeeting, GD, Taeyang and Seungri. my biased fangirling is happy and satisfied enough because GD! #mybaby #theloveofmylife! :D

Jill, Daniel and I arrived about 6-ish as we are pretty familiar with the scene already. seeing that we bought the cheapest tickets which meant standing at the most back, there was no need to suffer through a long queue and we were right. we just breezed through and I was very surprised that our zone wasn't packed full. one way to look at it is how much and how willing the Malaysian VIPs are in spending for the boys. most of them were packed in the front where the ticket prices ranged from RM400 - RM700(?). although I did assume our zone to be as packed as it was the cheapest, I guess this could be due to the timing, among several other factors. either way, I was still glad that I have the space to jump and go crazy without hands and placards blocking my view and the crowd squeezing the breath out of me.

the fanmeeting started pretty on time, on time meaning half an hour to one hour after the time written on the ticket. the MC was entertaining and the games they did at the beginning was amusing, adorable and makes me wish I jumped the girl who had the ticket number and took her place on stage instead. GD was so so so so endearing; his shy-ish, boyish, captivating smile drove me crazy, the way he was giving fan service, hugging the girl and all that (URGH!), I was so envious. I don't understand how that girl is not swooning and losing balance from all that proximity with him. I think I would have had a heart attack. haha.

Taeyang was being quite cool. before I go on further, let me explain what happened. in short, the boys picked three girls and they had to dress each girl according to a theme. GD got hip-hop (of course!), Taeyang got sexy (LOL) and Seungri got cute. GD even lend his shades to his girl, Taeyang dressed his girl in a maid outfit, Seungri's girl was in a bee costume. then, they took a group picture. in the midst of all that, every girl's romantic fantasies came true. GD was being all skinship and attentive to his girl, Taeyang was tying the ribbon on his girl's dress, it was Seungri's girl's birthday which meant she got a forced hug from him. all we needed to do was pretend that one of those girls (pick your man) was us and sigh from it. after the whole jealousy-inducing event occurred, the performances started.
Seungri was the first to go. Poor boy had no voice at all, he was barely croaking his words out which meant that he was lip-synching his songs. I overlooked that because he was really trying very hard despite his voice. I think he made up for his voice by really dancing his heart out. I was ecstatic when he did 할말 있어요 (Gotta Talk To You) because of the hustlin' hustlin' part. it has got to be the best part! of course, every performance by all of them are good and crazy but somehow, I get a tiny bit more excited for Seungri's stage. I'm not entirely sure why (especially since my bias is GD) but watching Seungri dance and sing and perform is addictive. ㅋㅋㅋ

then, it was Taeyang's stage and it was so good, so mind-blowing. he did 나만 바라봐 (Look Only At Me) and my heart melted into goo. to see how much he has improved, how far he has come, how confident and suave he became is just wonderful. he started off good, everybody in Big Bang did but you can really see that they are constantly moving forward, not just in their music but also themselves. i've never been more proud to be a VIP. the rain really started pouring during Taeyang's stage but I had no care of it at all. in fact, I think the rain added to the excitement, to the rush and craze of being in that concert and watching them.

finally, it was GD's turn. if I didn't know what love was, I knew it when I see him perform, see him sing and dance and be free on that stage. I know what romantic love is, I know how it feels but when I see GD, I understand why a person would become a fan, would profess undying love and loyalty, would even go over and beyond for the boys. Maybe I'm a bit more rational and less financially secure to go fan crazy but I totally get how they (the fans) feel. the love I feel is so big, so selfless (maybe?), so overwhelming. there was a point where I just stopped everything I was doing and look at him and a part of me wished that I could stay in that state forever, that state of awe and the recognition of love and happiness. I know you might think I'm exaggerating and perhaps slightly out of my mind but I hope that you would find something that makes you feel like that because it makes living worthwhile. heeh.

seems like I've written my fair share. I've been going through a range of emotions lately which might explain all those feels above.
my voice was gone by the end of it, I was drenched through but my heart was soaring. my RM203 was so worth it; we weren't as far back as we expected, in fact we could see the stage quite clearly, I was really enjoying myself without worrying about the rain or the crowd or capturing every moment of the performances and I think it was just a much needed break to go all out, to scream, to be excited and happy to my heart's content.

yes, I definitely had a great, wow fantastic baby time.

DO YOU HAPPY?
Saturday, December 07, 2013
i will always regret not being able to attend SS5 while i was in Korea. how could i have missed it right? ㅠㅠ thankfully, they did come to Malaysia and yea, i was a happy fangirl.

Super Show 5
Date: 23rd Nov 2013
Time: 5.00pm
Venue: Putra Indoors Stadium

apparently, we've pretty much jumped out of our crazy fangirl bandwagon since we have now graduated to being pretty chilled about arriving just before the concert starts and not even attempting to smuggle cameras in. its amazing! we arrived around 4pm, walked around, got my lightstick, took pics with the cut-out boards outside of the Kyochon booth and got ourselves in.

the concert started pretty on time and then, it was 3 hours of awesomeness that is Super Junior.

i have missed them so much. our seats were pretty high up but the view was just nice. we could see the entire setup from the main stage to the extensions which meant we could see where everyone was. this time around, they were pretty well distributed, all of them were at our sides and we all got to scream at our bias as they sing and dance in front of us. unfortunately, we were too high up for them to pay much attention to. D:

but being the mature fans that we are, we learn to take what we can get and just scream our hearts anyway because that's the way we show that we love them. and yes, i'm blabbing nonsense. their English were adorable. "DO YOU HAPPY?" oh, Donghae. precious bbs.

the concert was 3 hours long which was odd seeing how little solos and groups that performed. no complaints here because everyone was gorgeous. Mi and Min were my poison. (fangirl moment) they always are. i love Mi's smile, it always gets to me, so beautiful its blinding. and Min, my heart will always be for Min. how could anyone not love him? of course, i was paying a lot of attention to Hyuk too. that boy is my future husband! ㅋㅋㅋ

and Kangin! so happy to see him happy. ^^ and Heechul of course. how could anyone miss Heechul? he was his usual cheeky crazy self. and Kyu jumping and headbanging so adorably. and Hae being Hae. Siwon and his amusing and surprisingly accurate English. Hyuk being the leader, staying last and bowing and waving to everybody. he might even have teared up a bit or is that just the lighting? Shindong and Min being playful and dorky. Henry looking so confident and happy. Wook being his usual weird self. Mi being beautiful (yes, i know i've mentioned it before) and Suju being Suju, just having a great time on stage with each other and with the fans. so glad to see their brotherhood and friendship still so strong and true.

it was an awesome, spectacular, great, wonderful concert where i screamed and sang along till my voice was hoarse. i'm so so thankful that they came over to Msia despite its no taking off shirt rule which the boys were sad about. lol. looking forward to Super Show 6!

ELF forever!

G-Dragon One Of A Kind 1st World Tour
Date: 30th March 2013 (Day 1)
Time: 6.00pm (Korea time)
Venue: Olympic Gymnastics Arena, Seoul

asdfghjkl;asdfghjkl AWESOME. could it have been any other way?

i reached Seoul about 1pm but i kinda got lost for awhile and ended up reaching the arena around 4pm. thankfully, i managed to buy the GD ring to put on the crown light stick. however, i also accidentally got myself an extra light stick. :/ its up for sale if anyone's interested. heeh.

my light stick now testifies that i have been to two awesome concerts, Big Bang's and GD's. ^^

okay, now lets get down to business.

this was my view. i was on the third floor but pretty much in the middle, which meant the perfect view of course. the concert started a bit late, around 15 - 20 minutes later but GD is worth the wait, really. :D i'm gonna comment a little on each song based on what i remember.

overall, the concert was mind blowing. the stage was pretty simple this time around but definitely not less sophisticated. props were big and pricey-looking like the shiny car that he comes out in in the beginning and the DJ stand thing he was in for Today. i would say that this concert and the way he wants it to be is more personal. there wasn't a lot of VCRs but a lot of the live band and him rocking his songs. i can feel that the focus was really on him and the way he delivered his songs which made them all the more potent. his performance was energy-packed and crazy. i felt drained halfway into the concert because the power and the high during his songs were like "whoa~". i mean, it was CRAAAAAZY.

MichiGo; the concert started off with a VCR of him in a futuristic car being chased by someone and GD will then appear in a shiny car, climbing out of it dressed in a racer outfit which made him look really good, matched his red hair too. okay, who am i kidding? he looks good in anything but that image of him with the shades and that smirk, urgh, i was a dead girl even before he opened his mouth. btw, MichiGo = awesome song. i am looking forward to the MV. as mentioned, its a hip hop song and lets just say, G-boy hasn't lost his touch. the song is gonna blow!

Heartbreaker + One of A Kind; right off the hat, the energy was pumped up. he moved on to Heartbreaker and i sang along (more like screamed along) to every word. oh ya, the racer outfit he has on can be unzipped and it turns into some sort of coat. and then, there was One of A Kind. i don't recall much of these perfs that were out of norm.

Light It Up; oh, ho ho ho. guessed who showed up? Tablo! when the song started, i was like, "Noooo way~" and then he walked out and i was ecstatic. yeaa, you can imagine how i lost my voice. :D they had a video of Dok2 rapping to make up for him not being there.

The Leaders; and another guest performance, this time featuring CL! she looked gooood and to think she's the same age as me and she was 19 when this song came out. /sigh. i was sorta hoping for Teddy to join them but CL took over his verse instead. they replaced the second half of the 'whats up' chant to 'we're back', if i'm not mistaken.

Obsession; there was a short break before this song for him to change. i don't exactly remember what happened during the break. oops. anyway, he came out in a black outfit with a veil over his head. i know this song is all angst and pain but seeing him perform it, i really felt what the song is about. my heart was breaking as he struggled up the stairs to get to his girl who was hanging like a portrait at one corner. not to mention, there was a guitar solo that can rip right through your heart. i think i was holding my breath during the performance.

She's Gone; and of course, he moved on to another equally angsty painful song. and my heart breaks again. if GD can write songs like this, he can very well perform and portray the song too and he did. if i'm not wrong, he got rained over in this perf.

Butterfly; he lightened the mood by performing this, all sweet and cute and smiles. this performance was really pretty, kinda like the same feeling you get when you watch its MV. he had these big butterfly-like kites flying around and it was just magical. ^^ he was dressed in white and he was doing this sexy/cute hip swaying thing. i really wanted to shrink him to pocket-size and bring him home.

Missing You; you can tell even before this that he's pretty tired out. during this song, he lied down on the floor when the video of 김윤아 singing her part came on. the perf followed the style of Butterfly, there was a big tall beanstalk on the screen. very pretty. hehe.

That XX; he continued resting for a while and sang like an acoustic version of this. they brought this big chair out (like the thrones in Fantastic Baby's MV) draped in chains and shiny stuff for him to sit on. the guitarist sat at the foot of the chair to play. how is it that he can look good sitting on a chair?

결국; this was the song where Lee Hi joined him. there was something wrong with her mic, i think. towards the end, i couldn't really hear her but she sounded good effortlessly when her mic did work.

Today + A Boy + This Love + 1 Year Station; another VCR before he came out in this round DJ stand thing with spikes all around. lol. clearly, my descriptive skills suck. anyway, he sang 김종완's part of the song too for this. then, the dancers started doing Michael Jackson moves and i knew it was A Boy. when This Love played, it went wild, not that it already wasn't but this is his first solo song. i think i was feeling slightly emotional. to be able to hear him sing it, it was amazing for me. oh, he had a very special mic shaped like a dragon. it reminded me of Lee Hom's guitar. and the mic could extend into a standing one which was what happened when he sang 1 Year Station.

Crayon + Fantastic Baby; he combined both songs like what he did in MAMA 2012. we got our cray on, ppl! he sang and rap the whole Fantastic Baby too.

Encore, Breathe + Bad Boy; before the encore started, a short video came up and it was adorable. it showed him miming and the vid was like "get out! what? more?". then he did Breathe but the only thing i remember was him falling down on to the floor and rolling around after Breathe ended. he was exhausted and then while lying down, he started singing Bad Boy and we sang along. during Top's part, he imitated him and it was so cute. he walked and gestured the way Top does and then he danced like Taeyang during his part. he was so adorable! i think he might have imitated Seungri, i'm not very sure. D: after he finished, he introduced the band and thanked everyone. when he was supposed to leave, the dancers blocked him and was pretending to pull him back. he broke free from them and he was like "i guess you guys don't want to go home yet." kyaaa, so cute!

MichiGo; the last song of the night. after he finished, he went around the stage and bowed and waved goodbye. i think he had tears in his eyes. awwwwww~ he is so precious. its no wonder that he's my bias.

and yes, this ends my very long fan account. i don't have the words to do his concert justice. it was epic. i was like in some sort of daze when i walked out and the only thing that went through my mind was "wow. wow. wow." trying to make sure everything i just saw stay in my mind. i hope i get to catch it again when he goes to Malaysia or Singapore. the only regretful part of this concert was the duration. it ended slightly before 2 hours but i shouldn't complain. GD looked really tapped out and i heard that he had 2NE1 perform today (day 2) so that he gets more time to rest. poor bb.

to whoever that reads this, thank you for enduring all my words and i'm sure i missed out stuff. so if you have the chance to go for his concert, GO! you will not regret it. ^^

Goodnight and Happy Easter!

i guess i'll start with Big Bang. ^^

Big Bang Alive Galaxy Tour: The Final
Date: 26th Jan 2013 (Day 2)
Time: 6.00pm
Venue: Olympic Gymnastics Arena

what can i say except that it was super duper uber amazing? it was a dream came true. it was such a far fetched dream so long ago that when i was standing there, i didn't know what to feel. i couldn't believe that it was happening but when the music started and the curtain lowered, i just jumped right in and enjoyed myself. it was made much better by having 오빠 next to me, sharing this moment with me. it was perfect.

we sat quite far away but towards the middle, so we had a very good view of the whole thing. i didn't know who to look at, most of the time i try to focus on GD. the performances were flawless, the live band was so good and just seeing the boys feeling so at home because they were finally back where they were from. the way they smile and interact with the fans, its different. there is an ease in the way they speak and look at the crowd. it felt like a reunion and i strangely felt like a foreigner. still, it was heartwarming to see them this way. ^^

GD was very very sexy, his expressions and the way he sang, so sexy. haha. i cannot get the image of him biting his lips while dancing with the mic stand during Cafe. its no wonder that he's my bias. 오빠's favorite is Taeyang and as much as GD is my bias, Taeyang definitely has his appeal. both of us agreed that he's hot. i loved Seungri's solo! it was so, so 'him'. there were the guns and the dance perf and i love his songs. it shows off his personality so well, all confident and the "you know you want me" aura. he is so good at that, the arrogant, masculine kind of sexy. i do apologize that sexy seems to be the recurring theme here. :D there was Daesung and just seeing him smile that bright, ear to ear grin makes me happy already. i'm just really looking forward to his solo work. TOP still doesn't dance properly but he was very charismatic and cute at some points. he was wearing a cupcake/muffin on his head towards the end of the concert. it was so adorable!

the concert lasted for about three hours. and the below llama gifs perfectly describe how i feel about the concert. heeh. will continue about the rest of the Seoul trip in the next post. till then, goodnight and God bless!

gee gee gee.
Saturday, March 24, 2012

yup, as the picture indicates, i am/was working at the @live concert at KLCC. its a two-day concert and i have just returned from a very tiring and slightly hectic Day 1. Day 1 was crazy due to SNSD being in the concert. they were the first to perform and they did about 5 songs and left immediately after.

technically, this won't be much of a fan account because i didn't really see them as i had to work but i was a bit closer to them than the multitude of fans standing outside the barricades.

my group members and i took turns to go into the fan zone to watch their performances. even so, i could only barely make out their heads. \o/ they were real pretty of course and the usual la, dance well, lip-synched a little, had Tiffany translate for them, was all smiley and hot (in both sense of the word). the fans (what i really mean are the fanboys) were crazy ecstatic and man, were they good with their fanchants. keke.

working at a concert is not a bad experience and well, it does have its perks. :D like free entry to the concert. i've got another long day tmr, so i better end it here. goodnight!

p.s. Nicole Scherzinger is an awesome performer/artist!

Lee Hom Music Man II Msia
Date: 3rd March 2012
Time: 8.00pm
Venue: Stadium Merdeka

mm, lets see. the day started off pretty late since we weren't particular about rushing to the stadium to queue and stuff. had a late lunch in Pyramid before changing trains three times just to get to the right station. reached there about 6-ish and turned out we could enter already. it was drizzling by then and we had our raincoats on!

i think we sat there for about an hour or maybe less before the concert started. met up with Stephanie and her friends and we sat together. seats were as predicted pretty far back and he was but a tiny person on stage but his stage presence, his voice, his moves; they totally dominated the whole stadium. somehow i didn't feel like we missed out on a lot because of where we were seating (although close up views would have been heart-stopping) and he was so sweet to think of his fans when he did this one round around the stadium so that he was nearer to us. he even said "now, all of you have front row tickets." awww~

the beginning.

i don't know where to begin. he started off with Open Fire and there were fireworks and a big tank behind him. despite the stage looking a bit small, he really knew how to use it. there was a three-sided screen behind him and the graphics were beautiful, some were 3D-ish. i knew Open Fire was an awesome song but listening to it live made me realize that it is really an awesome song. he went on to two other fast songs and the band with the back-up singers came out after that. it was live band from then onward and that's really rare, i feel and so it was amazing. he sang all my favorite songs and i'm slightly embarrassed to admit that i didn't really know two of the songs he did. :/

with his one-of-a-kind guitar.

his clothes were super shiny and he showcased his other talents such as playing the piano, the guitar, the violin and er-hu. he sang quite a lot of songs acapella-style and most  of the songs had the fans accompanying him because its not in Korean, i guess and the lyrics are actually singable. LOL. the fans were quite different from the usual crowd i'm accustomed to. felt odd but the love was the same, always is, always will be. the concert lasted for about 2 hours plus. i wanted it to never end. the concert was mind-blowing. i was ecstatic when he sang Fang Kai Ni De Xin. i love the song to bits and pieces and he did it for the encore and *FLAILS* i was a happy person.

the ending.

the flailing won't stop for a couple of days. i have no words to describe how great the concert was and he is just so lovable.

i would write more but there's church tomorrow and i need to wake up.
goodnight, everyone!

pictures over at fb and fancams over at my youtube. (:

Super Show 4 Singapore
Date: 19th February 2012
Time: 4.00pm
Venue: Singapore Stadium

the whole ordeal of getting the tickets and going to Singapore to attend it was terrible, truth be told and i'd quote my sister on this; "the extend we go to just for them is really amazing."

but despite everything, despite the traveling to and fro from one corner of Singapore to another with a heavy backpack and missing our bus home; despite all of this, of course it was worth it.

we reached Singapore on Saturday, headed right over to the stadium after getting off the bus to see how's it like over there for SS4 Day 1. got some free cards and bought some pins. since grandpa was waiting for us to get home for dinner, we hurried back, had dinner, hang out for a while with the kids and off to bed, we went.

we were planning to attend CHC Spore but we would really be rushed for time if we did. so we decided against it. left home about 10 plus in the morning, carried our backpacks with us as we were supposed to leave right after the concert and headed to get our tickets from the post office. after certain issues were resolved, we finally got our tickets and went to the stadium. reached there just in time to have lunch before going in to the stadium.

before the concert started.

the concert started on time, i think. our seats were less than perfect because we couldn't see the main stage but i guess the simple fact that we were sitting in that concert made up for everything. well, the concert was amazing. since when have any Super Shows disappoint? the stage was more extravagant this time; raised platforms, moving stages, with more fireworks and even the water fountain thingy.

all nine Super Junior members were perfect. Teuk was going crazy during the performances. absolutely high, he was. Min was super adorable during the happy songs and super sexy during the dance songs. he kept wiggling his butt at people! :D

Hyuk didn't come over to my side too often though. ): only for a while when he was in his pigeon suit and when he was being all sexy sitting on the moving box thing. then there was Wook and let me say this, i will never be able to get over his 'Moves Like Jagger' performance, not even if i watch it over and over again. the performance makes me want to jump him and its just so like him to throw everyone off guard after such a hot performance with that cute smile of his.

Henry was awesome, he sang an acapella version of Off My Mind which i found he only did on day 2. lucky us! Zhoumi sang a Chinese song which i don't recognize and Hyuk's solo was hilarious. "call me Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, Johnny Depp, Choi Siwon. i belieb you." haha. but of course, he's the one and only Lee Hyukjae. Shindong's solo was epic. he did Hyuna's Troublemaker and Bubble Pop and because of where we were sitting, we could see him change his clothes behind the screen. keke.

Kyu was his usual self; cute, snarky, hyung-bully. he even translated the video for us during his solo. i find that there's a certain charm to him when he plays the harmonica. *swoons* Oppa Oppa was gooooood. i'm so happy we managed to do the fan chants with them. screamed my lungs out during this peformance. :D and Hae did a short part of This Is Love before Oppa Oppa. was hoping Henry would come out and rap. oh well.

when it was Siwon's turn for his solo, it felt weird to sing a worship song and it felt like no one really understood the meaning of the lyrics but for me, it felt really good to be able to worship and praise God with this big star who loves Him. for that short 3 minutes of a song, it felt like we were connected in this enormous family of Christ. ^^ God bless you, Siwon.

this time, they kept going down to the fans and stuff. loads of fanservice! makes me so envious! Teuk even "married" one of the girls in the moshpit. grrrr. they better come to Malaysia soon!

i think i have more to add but i'll just keep them as precious memories to myself. thank you for enduring my fangirl post. hehe.

goodnight!

Most Amazing 2011 in Kuala Lumpur.
Tuesday, December 06, 2011
Date: 3rd Dec 2011
Time: 7.30pm
Venue: Stadium Petaling Jaya

was there around 5pm. seems like Jill and I have just given up on being crazy fangirls who'd queue up since the morning just so we can get good seats. experience has taught us how to be smart about things like that. frankly, being front in the row is good if you're in the rock pit but even then it depends on what kind of rock pit. haha. i'm sure i don't make much sense to those who don't even know kpop. maybe one day i'll do a post on something that goes Kpop concert 101. heeeeh!

and while we were waiting outside, vans drove past us and guess what?! the first van that drove past us had Siwon sitting inside. *flails* Jill claims Donghae was beside him but idk. the point is they drove past us! a while later, there were a few vans, one had B1A4 in it and they were so cute. one of them looked quite shocked to see us.

anyway, we finally decided to get squished in the queue and got in about 7.30pm. it apparently drizzled a little but God was good and it stopped and we had clear skies for the whole night. we sat pretty far back because the arrangement wasn't really conducive for viewing but yea, i think this was the furthest i've ever sat away from the stage. DD:

it started of with a guest performance. it was some Chinese singer. didn't catch his name though. then MOA 2011 kick-started with Miss A. they began with Goodbye Baby and they performed Breathe, Love Alone, some slow song, Lady Gaga's Poker Face and ended with Bad Girl, Good Girl. they were good, of course and Jia seemed to be really popular with the Malaysian crowd.

Min.

after that, B1A4 appeared and started off their turn with Beautiful Target and a few more other songs. they were quite adorable. ^^

the main vocal of B1A4.

f(x) was next. unfortunately, there was only 4 of them without Krystal. they did Lachata, Hot Summer, NU ABO and another two songs i don't recall. the famous one was definitely Amber. she had people screaming for her like crazy!

Luna.

f(x).
and finally, what we've all been waiting for. SUPER JUNIOR! they started off with Superman and everything that happened after was amazing, wonderful and beautiful. :DD they did Acha, Sorry Sorry, Memories, Mr Simple, Marry U, Bonamana and Yesung sang It Has To Be You.

pictures shall do the talking. they're not of good quality seeing that i was super far away. ):

Superman.
Hyuk's intro.

Nama saya?

Yesung singing It Has To Be You.
Kyu during Memories.

it was so nice seeing them especially since we are not sure if SS4 is gonna be held here. it might even be the last time i get to see Teuk. whatever it is, the concert was truly most amazing.

final farewell.

everyone gathered for one final goodbye and the concert was over in two hours. we managed to catch glimpses of B1A4 and Miss A when they left the stadium and then, that was it. they even left to Korea on the same night.

i do feel slight regret for not being in the rock pit since there were so much interaction between SuJu and the fans. oh well.

fancam of SuJu singing Memories here.
rest of the pictures over at FB.

thats it for now. i know, i know, end of the year post will up after exams. right now, my brain is slowly dying on me. take care and God bless!

Korean Music Wave 2011.
Sunday, September 25, 2011
Date: 24th Sept 2011
Time: 7.00pm
Venue: Stadium Merdeka

please excuse me if i'm being brief and not so explanatory about things. my mind is simply too tired from all the screaming to be absolutely coherent right now. do expect loads of flailing especially when its nearing the end. :D

well, the day started off with lunch at home, took the cab to the stadium and reached around 3pm. walked around and got some fan stuff. i got myself a pair of Big Bang wristbands. (: headed over to where we were supposed to queue and sat and waited.

with Remita! (:

they opened the gates around 6pm and we managed to get quite alright seats. finally about 7.30 plus, the concert started with the MCs coming out and the co-MCs were of course, Kevin and Dongho. Dongho's Chinese was really cute!

the concert kick started with FT Island's Hello Hello. they went on to perform (not in order) Barae (I Hope), Bad Woman, Bing Bing Bing and Love Love Love. i discovered that Hongki can be quite sexy and has weird dance moves. keke.

FT Island.

next on the list was Teen Top. they performed the perfume song, Super Love, Angel, Will You Be My Girlfriend and Clap. they were very good live and i find one of them really cute but he's younger than me. all of them are actually. :/

their ass-grabbing move! heeeh.

4Minute came after. they have quite a number of girl fans and of course some boy fans too. you can hear these deep voices screaming especially during Hyuna's turn who was of course being very sexy. they sang Mirror Mirror, Heart to Heart, Hot Issue, Muzik and I My Me Mine.

4Minute.

then, it was U-Kiss! they did Neverland, 0330, Bingguel Bingguel, Everyday and ManManHaNi. now that i've heard Neverland live, i might actually grow a liking towards it. (: specially loved the fact that Hoon has more parts in Neverland. too bad U-Kiss had to leave right after their performance.

U-Kiss.

Park Jung Min was so adorable. i wasn't so familiar with his songs but during the break, he talked to us in Mandarin and then forgot some of the things he wanted to say. he took out this paper but apparently it was the wrong paper. it was sooo cute~ he was laughing awkwardly and all that but during the interview with the MCs, one of the guys brought out the correct paper and he told us what was written inside. it was in Malay, something about "akan buat yang terrrrbaik." *^^*

Park Jung Min.

finally, the most awaited for performance arrived! SEUNGRI! he was amazing. he came in all cool and well, totally Seungri-like. he sang VVIP, Strong Baby and What Should I Do. i was already pretty much losing my voice but you just have to scream for Seungri, you know! the atmosphere immediately heightened when he came out. quite a lot of VIPs in the crowd. ^^ but then, who wouldn't love Big Bang?

Seungri was being all haughty and arrogant when he was being interviewed but that occasional smile that appeared was brilliant. when he was asked about his feelings since its the first time he's in Msia, he replied, "Finally, i'm here." i'm glad he realizes that Msia needs a Big Bang concert. and when he as asked what he thought about Msian fans, he paused for a moment before saying, "Bagus!" kekekekee. so clever!

Seungri.

and FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY, GD&TOP! omo! when they came out, the crowd went crazy. i went crazy, screaming my lungs out throughout their performances. it was all awesome, beautiful and brilliant! i finally get to see GD live! best feeling in the world, i'm telling you. i don't know how to go on. they were AMAZING! they sang 뻑이가요, Oh Yeah and High High. it was just 대박!

just one horrible thing. there was no encore. )))': they didn't even come out to perform together or something. i was so deflated after it ended, not wanting to believe that its really over that i almost cried. sigh~ Big Bang need to have a concert here ASAP!

still, i got to see GD,TOP and Seungri which is CRA, CRA, CRA, CRAZY! no words can describe how amazing it was.
GD&TOP.

and now, i need to head to bed before my head explodes. good night!

HEARTS.
