DO YOU HAPPY?
Saturday, December 07, 2013
i will always regret not being able to attend SS5 while i was in Korea. how could i have missed it right? ㅠㅠ thankfully, they did come to Malaysia and yea, i was a happy fangirl.

Super Show 5
Date: 23rd Nov 2013
Time: 5.00pm
Venue: Putra Indoors Stadium

apparently, we've pretty much jumped out of our crazy fangirl bandwagon since we have now graduated to being pretty chilled about arriving just before the concert starts and not even attempting to smuggle cameras in. its amazing! we arrived around 4pm, walked around, got my lightstick, took pics with the cut-out boards outside of the Kyochon booth and got ourselves in.

the concert started pretty on time and then, it was 3 hours of awesomeness that is Super Junior.

i have missed them so much. our seats were pretty high up but the view was just nice. we could see the entire setup from the main stage to the extensions which meant we could see where everyone was. this time around, they were pretty well distributed, all of them were at our sides and we all got to scream at our bias as they sing and dance in front of us. unfortunately, we were too high up for them to pay much attention to. D:

but being the mature fans that we are, we learn to take what we can get and just scream our hearts anyway because that's the way we show that we love them. and yes, i'm blabbing nonsense. their English were adorable. "DO YOU HAPPY?" oh, Donghae. precious bbs.

the concert was 3 hours long which was odd seeing how little solos and groups that performed. no complaints here because everyone was gorgeous. Mi and Min were my poison. (fangirl moment) they always are. i love Mi's smile, it always gets to me, so beautiful its blinding. and Min, my heart will always be for Min. how could anyone not love him? of course, i was paying a lot of attention to Hyuk too. that boy is my future husband! ㅋㅋㅋ

and Kangin! so happy to see him happy. ^^ and Heechul of course. how could anyone miss Heechul? he was his usual cheeky crazy self. and Kyu jumping and headbanging so adorably. and Hae being Hae. Siwon and his amusing and surprisingly accurate English. Hyuk being the leader, staying last and bowing and waving to everybody. he might even have teared up a bit or is that just the lighting? Shindong and Min being playful and dorky. Henry looking so confident and happy. Wook being his usual weird self. Mi being beautiful (yes, i know i've mentioned it before) and Suju being Suju, just having a great time on stage with each other and with the fans. so glad to see their brotherhood and friendship still so strong and true.

it was an awesome, spectacular, great, wonderful concert where i screamed and sang along till my voice was hoarse. i'm so so thankful that they came over to Msia despite its no taking off shirt rule which the boys were sad about. lol. looking forward to Super Show 6!

ELF forever!

Super Show 4 Singapore
Date: 19th February 2012
Time: 4.00pm
Venue: Singapore Stadium

the whole ordeal of getting the tickets and going to Singapore to attend it was terrible, truth be told and i'd quote my sister on this; "the extend we go to just for them is really amazing."

but despite everything, despite the traveling to and fro from one corner of Singapore to another with a heavy backpack and missing our bus home; despite all of this, of course it was worth it.

we reached Singapore on Saturday, headed right over to the stadium after getting off the bus to see how's it like over there for SS4 Day 1. got some free cards and bought some pins. since grandpa was waiting for us to get home for dinner, we hurried back, had dinner, hang out for a while with the kids and off to bed, we went.

we were planning to attend CHC Spore but we would really be rushed for time if we did. so we decided against it. left home about 10 plus in the morning, carried our backpacks with us as we were supposed to leave right after the concert and headed to get our tickets from the post office. after certain issues were resolved, we finally got our tickets and went to the stadium. reached there just in time to have lunch before going in to the stadium.

before the concert started.

the concert started on time, i think. our seats were less than perfect because we couldn't see the main stage but i guess the simple fact that we were sitting in that concert made up for everything. well, the concert was amazing. since when have any Super Shows disappoint? the stage was more extravagant this time; raised platforms, moving stages, with more fireworks and even the water fountain thingy.

all nine Super Junior members were perfect. Teuk was going crazy during the performances. absolutely high, he was. Min was super adorable during the happy songs and super sexy during the dance songs. he kept wiggling his butt at people! :D

Hyuk didn't come over to my side too often though. ): only for a while when he was in his pigeon suit and when he was being all sexy sitting on the moving box thing. then there was Wook and let me say this, i will never be able to get over his 'Moves Like Jagger' performance, not even if i watch it over and over again. the performance makes me want to jump him and its just so like him to throw everyone off guard after such a hot performance with that cute smile of his.

Henry was awesome, he sang an acapella version of Off My Mind which i found he only did on day 2. lucky us! Zhoumi sang a Chinese song which i don't recognize and Hyuk's solo was hilarious. "call me Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, Johnny Depp, Choi Siwon. i belieb you." haha. but of course, he's the one and only Lee Hyukjae. Shindong's solo was epic. he did Hyuna's Troublemaker and Bubble Pop and because of where we were sitting, we could see him change his clothes behind the screen. keke.

Kyu was his usual self; cute, snarky, hyung-bully. he even translated the video for us during his solo. i find that there's a certain charm to him when he plays the harmonica. *swoons* Oppa Oppa was gooooood. i'm so happy we managed to do the fan chants with them. screamed my lungs out during this peformance. :D and Hae did a short part of This Is Love before Oppa Oppa. was hoping Henry would come out and rap. oh well.

when it was Siwon's turn for his solo, it felt weird to sing a worship song and it felt like no one really understood the meaning of the lyrics but for me, it felt really good to be able to worship and praise God with this big star who loves Him. for that short 3 minutes of a song, it felt like we were connected in this enormous family of Christ. ^^ God bless you, Siwon.

this time, they kept going down to the fans and stuff. loads of fanservice! makes me so envious! Teuk even "married" one of the girls in the moshpit. grrrr. they better come to Malaysia soon!

i think i have more to add but i'll just keep them as precious memories to myself. thank you for enduring my fangirl post. hehe.

goodnight!

这是爱.

Most Amazing 2011 in Kuala Lumpur.
Tuesday, December 06, 2011
Date: 3rd Dec 2011
Time: 7.30pm
Venue: Stadium Petaling Jaya

was there around 5pm. seems like Jill and I have just given up on being crazy fangirls who'd queue up since the morning just so we can get good seats. experience has taught us how to be smart about things like that. frankly, being front in the row is good if you're in the rock pit but even then it depends on what kind of rock pit. haha. i'm sure i don't make much sense to those who don't even know kpop. maybe one day i'll do a post on something that goes Kpop concert 101. heeeeh!

and while we were waiting outside, vans drove past us and guess what?! the first van that drove past us had Siwon sitting inside. *flails* Jill claims Donghae was beside him but idk. the point is they drove past us! a while later, there were a few vans, one had B1A4 in it and they were so cute. one of them looked quite shocked to see us.

anyway, we finally decided to get squished in the queue and got in about 7.30pm. it apparently drizzled a little but God was good and it stopped and we had clear skies for the whole night. we sat pretty far back because the arrangement wasn't really conducive for viewing but yea, i think this was the furthest i've ever sat away from the stage. DD:

it started of with a guest performance. it was some Chinese singer. didn't catch his name though. then MOA 2011 kick-started with Miss A. they began with Goodbye Baby and they performed Breathe, Love Alone, some slow song, Lady Gaga's Poker Face and ended with Bad Girl, Good Girl. they were good, of course and Jia seemed to be really popular with the Malaysian crowd.

Min.

after that, B1A4 appeared and started off their turn with Beautiful Target and a few more other songs. they were quite adorable. ^^

the main vocal of B1A4.

f(x) was next. unfortunately, there was only 4 of them without Krystal. they did Lachata, Hot Summer, NU ABO and another two songs i don't recall. the famous one was definitely Amber. she had people screaming for her like crazy!

Luna.

f(x).
and finally, what we've all been waiting for. SUPER JUNIOR! they started off with Superman and everything that happened after was amazing, wonderful and beautiful. :DD they did Acha, Sorry Sorry, Memories, Mr Simple, Marry U, Bonamana and Yesung sang It Has To Be You.

pictures shall do the talking. they're not of good quality seeing that i was super far away. ):

Superman.
Hyuk's intro.

Nama saya?

Yesung singing It Has To Be You.
Kyu during Memories.

it was so nice seeing them especially since we are not sure if SS4 is gonna be held here. it might even be the last time i get to see Teuk. whatever it is, the concert was truly most amazing.

final farewell.

everyone gathered for one final goodbye and the concert was over in two hours. we managed to catch glimpses of B1A4 and Miss A when they left the stadium and then, that was it. they even left to Korea on the same night.

i do feel slight regret for not being in the rock pit since there were so much interaction between SuJu and the fans. oh well.

fancam of SuJu singing Memories here.
rest of the pictures over at FB.

thats it for now. i know, i know, end of the year post will up after exams. right now, my brain is slowly dying on me. take care and God bless!

perfection.
Sunday, May 29, 2011
Super Junior M @ Himpunan Sejuta Belia
Date: 28th May 2011
Time: 10pm
Venue: Menara KBS, Putrajaya

well, the day started off just like how any kpop-related event start; hours of waiting. SJM was supposed to come out around 9pm or 9.30pm but when we were waiting, the hosts said they'll come out at 10pm. we were there from 3pm onwards but we only decided to join the crowd of Elfs around the stage at about 6pm which was less pain for us, really.

there were a lot of other things happening like roller skating, local bands performing, paragliding, etc. too bad we didn't really go around since our main concern was for SJM. their vans actually drove past us when we were on our way to Putrajaya! caught a glimpse of Henry's backup dancers. ^^ which meant when we arrived, we were just on time for their rehearsal. managed to catch glimpses of Hyuk, Kyu, Zhoumi and Henry and heard Kyu and Zhoumi practicing their solos.

after their rehearsal ended, Jill and I walked around and finally decided to sit down on the curb facing the artists' tents. you know cus we were trying to see if we can spot any of the SJM but we didn't. :/ after the launching and speeches and stuff, we decided to head into the crowd before we get pushed any further behind and that was when the misery and suffocation started.

after listening to the local acts (there were a few of them and i don't know any of them at all), we still had to wait till 10pm for them to come out. unfortunately, Donghae and Siwon weren't there. D: but anyway, at 10, they FINALLY came out. started off with Perfection which was awesome! the crowd immediately went crazy of course. they had a short interview session after that and some fans got the chance to go up and cuddle. grrr. then, they sang Blue Tomorrow and the solo performances happened after that.

after it ended.
we most probably look better than all the aches we had after the concert.

after Blue Tomorrow, it was Henry's solo, Off My Mind. it was the first time he's performing it and its to us! :DD he was looking super cute as always!

Zhoumi's solo.
Zhoumi sang Fish Leong's '3 In The Morning' and looking good in his glasses. idk, i have a thing for him in his specs, it makes him look like this super sexy lecturer. hehe.

Ryeowook's solo.
then it was Ryeowook's turn. he sang one of Theresa Teng's famous songs. i forgot the title though. after Wook, it was Kyu and his 'If Only You Heard'. Eunhyuk's performance was last and the best! he did a Michael Jackson song dance thing which meant a lot of crotch-grabbing and thrusting moments. *grins*

there was another short interview after the solo performance and then, they proceeded to singing Destiny. got a perfect view of Min and Wook!

Destiny.
i was so busy taking videos and pictures that i couldn't watch the performances properly. although to be truthful, even if i wasn't doing anything with the camera, it'll still be hard to watch them properly seeing all the head and hands and boards that are blocking my view. i'm going to be looking for fancams after this, especially for Hyuk's dance solo!

final goodbye.
Super Girl was the encore and that ended one full hour of SJM. for a free event, it wasn't too bad. the crowd and the squishing and the standing for hours are already a norm to me. its just one of those things you endure for the sake of Kpop. ^^

all pictures are over at my Facebook account and if you're interested in the fancams (i've got the first interview, half of Perfection, Zhoumi's solo and Destiny), you can go over to my youtube account. (:

for a more detailed/ spazzy account, head over to my sister's blog. :D

CNY 2011. (:
Saturday, February 05, 2011
the start of my week in Singapore was epic, to say the least. CNY 2011 is awesome. mainly because of Super Show 3 and not just one SS3, but two! the fan accounts are here if anyone is interested. (:

with the tiring but crazy good weekend behind me, Jill and I headed to Resorts World aka Sentosa to look for job vacancies. ended up just walking around taking pictures of floral animals and eating gelato ice-cream. HEEH.

the flavours were dark chocolate (YUM!), pistachio (YUM YUM!) and strawberry.

instead of reunion dinner, we had reunion lunch. got treated to really nice champagne too. dinner was at uncle's in-laws' place.

matching yellow apple necklace! this is Margeret btw.

the first day of CNY started off just like my previous CNY in Singapore; a visit to my uncle's in-laws' house. it was lunch buffet and sitting there with open hands as the aunties walk around giving out ang paus. ^^ was there nearly the whole day. the highlight of the day other than the ang paus was most probably seeing Hankyung on TV. :D

on the second day, Jill and I headed to Marina Bay Sands to take a look since Jill has never been there. loads of people around and many were heading towards the casino. walked around a bit, had bibimbab for lunch and went over to Orchard Road. in the evening, we went to Jurong Point hoping to find job vacancies for Jill and had Wendy's for dinner.

will be heading home later to loads of work. /sigh. this is life. (:

close your eyes, come to me.

Tips on Having a Good Time Stalking and Attending A Concert
Monday, March 29, 2010
Sub-title: This is what happened to me.
Note: I am currently writing in terms of SuJu, thus you should replace my subject with whoever is it that you like/will stalk/attending the concert.

Pre-Concert
1. Do find out when they are coming. Easy, go join the organizing company’s Facebook page. They’ll usually let you know the plane they’re taking, what time they’re arriving and even the hotel they are staying in. Their information are true, just that some important lines are omitted. Example: “Btw, they are not coming the usual way aka through the arrival hall as everyone would expect. Nope, they are running off without saying hi.” Which brings me to number 2.

2. Do go to the airport early. Not that it matters if you get front viewing space because as mentioned above, they don’t come out the usual way. Do however stalk the guy with the big camera on his shoulder cause guess what *I just figured it out. Oh the stupidity of me* these people should be clearer than anyone where the famous people will be because duhhh, they have to film them. Why oh why didn’t I write this earlier?

3. Do wear running shoes and clothes you’re comfortable in. *Note: the running shoes part are not applicable to vertically challenged fans* Security guards are big people and you need the height to at least catch a glimpse of them. Running shoes are advisable due to the sprinting that might occur once you realize they are not where you are.

Suggestion? I personally think that waiting for them at the hotel is much easier because there is a higher chance of seeing them. Or maybe it’s just that the hotel SJ stayed in didn’t have some sort of secret entrance. D: I did not take my own advice though and ended up disappointed. Thank God for fellow ELFs that were lucky or weren’t as dumb as us who shared their videos of them arriving at the airport.

And guess what, if you stalk them from the hotel, you might be able to see them coming out again on the way to the concert venue for their soundcheck.

4. Do go to the concert venue early especially if you’re getting unnumbered seats or rock pit seats where you have to fight for a strategic location. Staying overnight is also an option. However, if you are getting numbered seats, there is no special need to hang around there so early but hey, why not? You get free gifts, meet fellow fans and buy random merchandises (not official ones of course) such as light sticks, which may not be officially sold during the concert. And you wouldn’t want to miss out on showing your support with a sea of blue *Note: this only applies to SJ.* right?

During concert

5. Firstly, placards or LED boards you intend to flash during the concert; its advisable if you’re sure they are visible to the artists you’re showing it to. If not, you might not want to waste your energy holding up something they can’t see and wasting your chance of watching them properly without the bother of holding something that could be blocking your view. If you do intend to make/bring any, perhaps only one and it must be huge! There was a fan during the concert, which held a sign that said “U Are Gorgeous”, and I who was sitting at the opposite of her side of the stadium could read it, what more SJ. Very advisable to bring placard(s) if you’re in the front row AKA my friend who got her Kyu Hyun placard taken by said name himself and even posed for a pic with it. *___*

6. Do wear comfortable clothes. They won’t be able to see what you’re wearing so its okay. If you want to stand out, get a blue wig.

7. Stand when the others stand. Sit when the others sit. Don’t block people’s view. You know you won’t like it either if someone else does it to you.

8. You will gape in awe. I repeat, you will gape in awe and your mind will go empty and the only thing you do is stare and think, “OMO OMO OMO, they’re right here in front of me!” Try to get out of it as soon as possible so that you could concentrate on their performances.

Post-Concert

9. You will be sad and reluctant to leave. But do realize that you’ve just had one of the best night ever and that you actually got to see the people you’ve always wanted to see. You will suffer from post-concert depression and you will go crazy watching every single fancam available on the concert you were actually present in and saving every single picture you can find from that concert.

10. In any case where you might not recover from the post-concert depression, you could always hop on a plane and go for their next concert provided there is a next concert to go to and that you’re financially stable. (:

for an actual fan account, you might be interested in my sis' post.

ryeowook, will you marry me?
Sunday, March 21, 2010
will be heading back to Spore later. ): i still wanna spazz with Jill on the concert.

so. Super Show 2. definitely the bestest thing that ever happened in my life. to see them face to face, watch them dance, hear them sing? its more than a dream come true.

pics are in FB. head on over there. not much on the concert due to brain malfunctioning once they came out. you can search on their fantaken pics and fancams! *must see* on the Internet. shouldn't be hard.

20 March 2010 - D-Day
we aka me and my sis planned to go to the stadium around 11am. however, we reached there around 12pm. there were already ppl there, some camped overnight so that they could go in first into the rock pit.

since we were early and we found out that the sales of SS II merchandise are only starting around 4, we sat ourselves at the entry of our section and I did my placard. while we were sitting there, two girls came and asked where we were from. we said Ipoh, doubt she knew where that was since she's from Thailand. she asked us for our favs in SJ and we told them. then, they just handed me a 12 Plus (a cosmetic brand in Thailand that SJ is endorsing) perfume with Donghae's face on it and gave Jill a Heechul's. she also gave us a Fino pamphlet with SUJU on it, a motorcycle brand in Thailand. :DD spreading the SUJU LOVE!

after i finished my placard, we walked around because there were other ppl selling SJ stuff around. we bought lightsticks and got free ELF balloons. i'm sure that's not what you really want to know but bear with me. (: around 3-ish, they were starting to see the merchandises already. big mess because everyone was not orderly. the guards had to whistle and yell for us to get into lines. LOL. bought two sets of character shirts, that's all they were selling actually. a set consists of a character t-shirt and a flag. i bought Kyuhyun's and Ryeowook's. would have gotten another one but max was only 2. D:

they opened the doors around 6. rock pit ppl went in first. the show started with two opening artists. first one were Thomas & Jack. they were pretty okay, can dance, can sing. next was a guy whom i absolutely do not recognise. he had nice flappy hair though.

SJ was suppose to come after the opening artists naturally but maybe due to some difficulties, they only came out around 8pm. we waited and waited and they kept playing videos on the screen getting us all hyped up and then disappoint us when nothing happened. finally, when the lights went bright and grew dim and there were bodyguards forming a human barrier on the stairs, did we realise that some of the members are actually coming down the stairs next to us! i was at the end of the line, so i was close to whoever it was that would be coming our side.

started off with Donghae and Eunhyuk popping out on the side stages and others around the stage. i couldn't see with all the fans standing up anticipating for who's next. FINALLY, finally, he came down, our side and it was RYEOWOOK. he was right in front of me, walking down the stairs and i think my sanity just about dropped dead. he was having his performance face on and doing some sort of dance moves because they started off with the song 'A Man In Love'. i think he smiled for a second though. can i say he is B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L?

i have no idea how i am going to fit the whole concert in one post. there were 10 of them, 12 counting Zhoumi and Henry and there are no words to describe how brilliant the concert was. i'm thinking about going to the Manila concert now. *__*

i could see the friendship and love between all the members, the way they interact with each other during all the performances, the way they play with each other and the way they really love us ELFs. Leeteuk and Donghae cried during Shining Star and i don't know how anyone who went to the concert could not love them even more, all 15 of them.

seeing them dancing and singing live, its undeniable that they are a group of people with talent and hard work. they shine on stage. i'll most prob do a song by song post later on, hopefully before my memory fades *the HORROR* but i'm sure my sis will have an even more amazing post since she sat at the front row right in front of the stage which means she saw them up close and managed to touch Siwon's thumb. :D and Kristal who had her placard taken by Kyuhyun. *flails*

Thank you, Lord for bringing them here. the concert was undeniably the best time of my life.

gtg. take care everyone.

pic taken in KLIA.

short summary of the day before concert.

went off to Times Square to buy Jenny's dvd and other SUJU stuff that we saw. really need my beauty sleep now thus the short post.

after Times Square, took the KLIA Ekspres to KLIA, waited for approx. 4 hours but never got to see them because they came out another way. *SIGH* was slightly heartbroken. however, on the way back in the bus, several girls who managed to see them and caught a video of them shared it with me and my sis. just glad that they are here, safe and seemingly happy. (:

can't wait for SS II.

will blog later aka after the concert. ;DD

God Bless!
