All i have are words to take your heart away.
폭풍속으로.

well, i figured that the previous post shouldn't be the first thing people see when they look over here. its a bit too depressing, no? so i thought i'd blog about the Seoul/Busan holiday that i had when my mum and sis came over for two weeks. and this happened about three weeks ago. i know, i know, its taken me a while this time.

the plan was to spend one week in Seoul and one week in Busan. the one week in Seoul was pretty hectic and i was tired out at the end of every day but it was all good of course. we visited some of the must-see tourist sites in Korea. one of them being the Gyeongbokgung Palace.

of course, we had to take picture with King Sejong on the Gwanghamun Square. everyone who visits Korea must do this. :D

actually, we didn't really get to visit the palace because by the time we reached, it was closing. it closes early during winter, okay! not because we woke up late and all. the next best thing was to take a picture in front of it. :P

being girls and Myeongdong being shopping haven for cosmetics and other girly stuff, Myeongdong was actually the first place we went to. other shopping havens that we took a walk around were Namdaemun and Dongdaemun. it was crazy because things were cheap and my mum bought a whole zoo of socks. but you can't blame her, they were adorable!

my sister and I being Kpop fans meant that we had to visit/see Kpop related stuff. we weren't really successful, maybe cus we didn't put a lot of effort into it and it wasn't really fair dragging our mum here and there to satisfy our Kpop craze. but i thought what we did manage to do pretty good, like taking pictures with Super Junior and getting a drink at Siwon's Twosome Cafe. heeh.

we went to Hongdae of course and also Insadong which was really cool. i wished we had more time. there was just so much to see and so many places that needed walking into. and i need to get myself into a club in Hongdae at least once.

this has got to be one of my favorite moment in Korea thus far. getting the chance to wear Hanboks and take cute pictures in the picture booth. so Korean! ^^ and we look so pretty!

what other places did we go? erm, we walked around Bukchon Hanok Village. it was really amazing walking around the traditional houses but we were kinda clueless about what we should do there. lol. we also went to the N Seoul Tower. it was cold but it was great. normally, couples go there to put on the love locks thing but i think for me, to put on a lock at the tower with my mum and sis means even more than having done it with a boyfriend. it meant so much more; the love between the three of us, my mum, my sis and I is so much more than all the guys who did and will walk in and out of our lives.

and i almost forgot! Lotte World. we spent a whole evening in Lotte World. it was fun although we didn't get to go on a lot of rides because of the really really long queue on all of them.

am i missing anything else? yea, i think this was pretty much Seoul for that one week. i'm most probably not gonna blog about the Busan trip because it was a quiet week and i'm sure my sister will do it and also because i live in Busan. heh. i'm very glad that they came to see me and to visit Korea. we hadn't been on a holiday together for a long long time and this time together made me realize how important family is and how much i love them. hearts.

this post isn't much but there's a lot of readjusting to do regarding my recent situation. so i hope you guys understand if i'm not here often.

goodnight and God bless!
