i was watching mr. magorium's wonder emporium yesterday and i realised one thing. ok, for those of you that has no idea what movie that is, its about mr magorium who's 234 years old and he's departing as in he's gonna die. he has this magical toy store and he's giving it to mahoney, this girl who seemed to have worked there her whole life. she is some sort of a music genius but unable to find the right note to finish her concerto. she loses faith in herself and when she finds out that mr magorium is departing and leaving the emporium in her hands, she freaks out. she says that she doesn't have the ability to run the store. bla bla bla. she ends realising that she can actually do it.
my realisation: faith. its simple. to simply believe what is in front of you.
I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Matthew18:3
to become like a child, to believe and have faith like how a child would. even as you grow, never lose the child in you. remember the days where you laugh with your mouth wide open till your stomach hurts. remember the days when you played with your friends , running around till you scrape your knees. carefree and happy.
it took me quite some time to understand faith. then i realised, you don't understand faith. you simply have it.
